75. I read your book and it was so interesting that I had to try it. My main motivation was to find a way to stop losing energy during my triathlons and duathlons. 1st, the weight dropped from 168 to 150 (I am 6' and thought this to be impossible!)And my food consumption is dramatically up (the bottomless pit!!) I now train and race with a heartrate monitor out of necessity. I literally have enough energy that during my races I constantly hover at the 180 - 190 mark and would push harder if I didn't have any way of knowing what my heartrate was. I am 33(ex-smoker) and am having my best season ever - rivaling anything I ever did in high school or the service. I had my cholesterol checked at 8 months into the diet just to make sure that wasn't the 'fly in the ointment'. It's not. Barring any unforseen circumstances, I plan to do a half Ironman and, hopefully, qualify for Kona next year.
