DESCRIPTION: I am obese (5'8" - 300lbs). When I started the Type O diet, the last week in Oct. 97, I was 321 lbs. I work out daily, treadmill or exercise bike for 30 min. and weight lift, alternating upper body and lower body. I have followed the Type O diet religiously, cutting out wheat, dairy, potatoes and grains. The only things that I eat that are not highly beneficial or neutral are once a week I have a dish of ice cream and once every two weeks I have pizza with the kids. I initially lost weight however I seem tohave hit a plateau and can't break the 300 mark. I want to get to around 180 lbs. Any insight you might have would beappreciated. My energy level has been phenominal. I am getting by on about 5 hours sleep a night and I feel great. So even if I can't lose the weight I'll stick with the diet.Brian W. Barton
