DESCRIPTION: The greatest indicator has been when I have not adhered to good choices. The four days I spent eating meals at my Grandmothers and Mom's made feel awful around Easter time. Even just eating a small Tuesday brunch at Mom's leaves me feeling lethargic and bloated, not to mention that the mucuc build-up within 24 hours. I'm particularly careful to stay away from items on the Avoid List when our choir will be singing at church. Otherwise I croak. I am not sure how my condition could be verified clinically although I will relate my experience to my psychiatrist at my next visit. Then it will be officially documented. The fatigue which accompanies manic-depression is certainly alleviated through my food choices. There are other factors that come into play as I am also using supplementation, a list of which I can provide you if it would be useful to your work. Full sprectrum lighting is also helpful during the winter months as well as a career change to reduce stressors.
