Ingredient list:
  • 1 pound herring in wine sauce
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • 2 boiled potatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
  • 15-16 ounces beets, chopped
  • 1-2 Tablespoons beet juice
  • 1 Tablespoon herring juice
  • 3 Tablespoons mayonnaise [mayonnaise recipes]
  • sea salt, to taste
  • fresh ground black peppercorns, to taste


How to make it:
  • Mix everything together well.
  • Serve immediately, or refrigerate.
