| BIOACTIVITY | The lectin is probably nonmitogenic against human lymphocytes. Papainized human erythrocytes of the different ABO groups were agglutinated equally well by the Cicer lectin, whereas untreated cells reacted weakly and only in the presence of bovine serum albumin. |
