BIOACTIVITYLectin I agglutinates rabbit erythrocytes but does not agglutinate human A, B and O types of erythrocytes.
SOURCE TISSUE
SPECIFICITYIt is specific for N-acetyl D-glucosamine, chitobiose, pNP-beta-mannoside as well as high mannose type glycopeptides.
