DESCRIPTION: I've found that I've dropped an enormous amount of chronic muscular tension in the last 10 weeks since I started the program, which has resulted in better sleep and a clearer head.I've also experienced, like many who post to the web forums, a drop in weight. I didn't desire this initally, since I'm 5'8" and only weighed 126 to start with. I dropped to 117 and then stabilized there. My appetite has improved and for the first time in a long, long time I know what hunger is, as opposed to craving for food. Also, I found it difficult to find many of the beneficial foods at first, so I had to ease into the diet, dropping certain types of foods only when I found a replacement. It's fascinating how much effect just a single meal of a food from the avoid list now has. I know I can count on a single plate of durum wheat semolina pasta to make my face break out the next day (and of course, I know that by avoiding that pasta, I can help keep my skin clear.)One other comment, during the time I've been on the A-diet, I also experimented with a liver cleanse of grapefruit juice and olive oil, preceded and followed by an epsom salt solution. I did that twice and it seemed to increase my energy (certainly in the short term), although I'd have a hard time trying to distinguish its effects from the A-diet's effects as far as increased energy is concerned. (Could be the result of one, or the other, or both.)The results of the A-diet, especially the dramatic results of deviating from it, have got me firmly committed to sticking with it, in any case. Hope my experience can be used to help further your research.
